NextGeneration Sustainability Benchmark 2011 officially launched
NextGeneration is an annual sustainability benchmark of the top 25 UK home builders by size. It enables investors, the government, home builders and their clients to make better investment, policy and strategy decisions to deliver more sustainable new homes. The benchmark assesses companies’ performance and commitment in social, economic and environmental sustainability.

The results of the 2011 NextGeneration Sustainability Benchmark were launched on 17th November 2011 with Andrew Stunell MP and Adam Elman from Marks and Spencer’s Plan A providing commentary on the results. The NextGeneration report "Delivering on the ground - The UK home building sector’s contribution to a sustainable future" ranks the UKs top 25 homebuilders according to their sustainability performance.
The Berkeley Group, Crest Nicholson, Willmott Dixon and Miller Homes all emerged as leaders in the 2011 benchmark, with Lend Lease and Keepmoat Group completing the top five performing companies.
